How to turn a PDF into a Word file

What to expect
You get the text with headings and paragraphs. Pictures, fonts, colours and the exact page layout are not copied, so check the result and tidy it up. For PDFs that are mostly tables, try PDF to Excel.
Common mistakes
- Expecting the Word file to match the PDF page for page: only the text and simple structure are rebuilt.
- Converting a scanned PDF: it has no words, so run it through Image to Text (OCR) first.
