Free Online PowerPoint to PDF

Make a PDF from a PowerPoint file, one page per slide. The text and pictures of each slide are drawn where they sit on the slide. Your file never leaves your device. Save a PowerPoint (.pptx) presentation as a PDF, one page per slide, with its text and pictures.

How to turn a presentation into a PDF

Drop your .pptx file and press Convert to PDF. Each slide becomes one page with the size of the slide.

What to expect

Text and PNG or JPG pictures are kept in place; tables become grids. Backgrounds, colours, shapes, charts and fonts are not drawn, so check the result. When you need an exact copy, use Save as PDF in PowerPoint itself.

Common mistakes

  • Opening an old .ppt file or one with a password: save it as a plain .pptx in PowerPoint first.
  • Expecting backgrounds, charts and design to appear: only text, tables and pictures are drawn.

Frequently asked questions

Is my presentation uploaded?
No. The .pptx is read and the PDF is made inside your browser.
Will the PDF look like my slides?
Only roughly. This tool has no PowerPoint engine. It puts each text box and each PNG or JPG picture where it sits on the slide, and draws tables as grids. Backgrounds, colours, fonts, shapes, charts, SmartArt, animations and speaker notes are not kept. For an exact copy, use Save as PDF in PowerPoint.
Why is my .ppt file refused?
Only the modern .pptx format can be read. Open an old .ppt file, or one with a password, in PowerPoint and save it as .pptx first.
Why do some letters show as "?"
The PDF uses the standard fonts, which cover English and most European languages. Other scripts are replaced with a question mark and the tool tells you how many.
Are animations and fancy shapes kept?
No. Only the text and pictures of each slide are drawn. Animations, effects and complex shapes are left out.
