How to sign a PDF
Drop your PDF in the box. Make your signature (draw, type or upload), drag it to the right spot on the page and pick the pages. Press Sign PDF and save the new file.
Honest limits: the visible signature is a picture put into the page. The optional digital signature uses your own .p12 or .pfx certificate; PDF readers will show a self-made certificate as unknown. A PDF that already has digital signatures loses them when it is saved again. This tool cannot check other people's signatures against trust lists.
Common mistakes
- Signing a copy and then editing it: change the file first, sign last.
- Expecting the signature to be movable afterwards: place it carefully, it becomes part of the page.
- Using a signature picture with a white box around it: leave "make the white background see-through" on.
