Free Online Text Extractor

Paste any text, such as a web page, a log or an email thread, and get a clean list of what you are looking for. Nothing leaves your browser. It gives developers a quick browser-based way to solve a focused text extractor task before moving the result into a project.

How to use Text Extractor

Paste your text in the box on the left, or open a file, then press Extract. Choose what to find. Duplicates are removed by default and you can filter by domain or download a CSV with counts.

Common mistakes

  • Expecting every number to be a phone number: choose the right region so local numbers are recognised.
  • Forgetting that duplicates are removed: switch it off to see every occurrence.

Frequently asked questions

How are phone numbers recognised?
Numbers with a country code are kept as written. Without one, the chosen region decides: Indian mobiles, US/Canada and UK numbers are recognised and written in international form.
Why was a link shortened?
Punctuation that belongs to the sentence, such as a full stop or a closing bracket, is removed from the end of a link.
Are invalid IP addresses ignored?
Yes. An address like 256.1.1.1 has a part above 255 and is not listed.
Is my code uploaded anywhere?
No. The conversion runs in your browser and nothing you paste is sent to a server.
How do I use this text extractor tool?
Use the interactive controls above; processing stays in your browser and the result is intended as a practical starting point for development work.
